⦁ Divorce
There is no easy end to a short or long marriage. Divorces are difficult for most people to handle, yet, about 40% of marriages end in divorce. For some people, hiring a divorce attorney is an unavoidable action. It need not be a painful one. At Family First Law, LLC, we recognize the difficulties inherent in the divorce process. We emphasize communication with our clients so that client’s are as engaged in the process as they choose. Communication works two ways, and that means we are great listeners. When you come to us, we will hear your side of the story and your requests for the outcome of the case. This allows our firm to plan a course for the best possible outcome in your case. Emphasizing communication also means keeping you apprised of where we are in the process, what the representatives for your spouse are contemplating, and how we plan to handle that.
At Family First Law, LLC, we handle uncontested and contested divorces, whether you and your spouse are on the same page about the divorce or are just starting out on your journey through divorce.
⦁ Annulment
An annulment does not end a marriage. It means the law never recognized the marriage in the first place. This may seem like a meaningless distinction, but it’s anything but meaningless when it comes to marital or community property.
